The purpose of using lifting straps is to get those extra reps when the back has more to go, but your grip and forearms are getting to their limit πŸ’ͺ🏻

Personally, like any assistance equipment in the gym, I only use these during my heavy working sets!

We still want to improve your grip strength for when you get stronger... don't leave your gains on the table (it's not cheating) 😁

The Single Arm Plate Loaded Chest Press 😁πŸ’ͺ🏻

An Exercise which doesn't get used enough for Chest gains πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

➑️ Enables you to make your pec work at its main contraction like you would in the cable cross over, and what is missing in the flat barbell Chest Press!

➑️ Less shoulders and Triceps are involved compared to a Chest Press making sure the chest is worked more efficiently!

➑️ Awesome at building up the individual strength of each pec in a controlled piece of equipment (instead of and safer than dumbbells)!

➑️ Reduces the amount of stress on your shoulder joint and tendons due to using less weight and Range of Motion!

➑️ Cable Front Raises
➑️ Dumbbell Shrugs 

Plated Shoulder Press -
Warmed up from a light weight and more Reps to my Max for the Exercise (Shown) 4 Reps is probably the least amount of Reps I will go to (about 80-90% Max) πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Dumbbell Shrugs -
Notice how I'm hunched over as I lift them πŸ€” the Traps are mainly an upper back muscle so a slight hunch will allow you to target them better.. there is no need to roll your shoulders as you lift!! Just a simple up and down is more than enough πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Remember it's a back exercise so a slight lean back helps you get your elbows behind your back to engage your Lats, Rhomboids and Traps better πŸ˜‰πŸ’ͺ🏻

Helps with posture aswell as a stronger back to help you keep your Back straight and engaged when doing hinge exercises like Deadlifts πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Narrow - Hits the Rhomboids and Biceps more, and a generally stronger back 😁

Wide - Hits the Lats more to assist in width and help with those pull ups πŸ‹β€β™‚οΈ

Machine Lateral Raises (Dumbbells can be used) with Plate Front Raises straight after, and about 90 seconds rest in between πŸ’ͺ🏻

I usually aim for 3 Sets of 8-12 Reps and increasing the weight as I go (This was my last set)

It can be done in many other ways using cables to hit the muscles differently but this one works πŸ˜‰πŸ’ͺ🏻

It doesnt actually take too much work, its just the small changes that need to be made, im doing roughly 
- 4-5 hours of weights a week
- 1 hour HIIT a week
- High Protein foods
- Carb Cycling 

But I also drink beer, eat pizza, go out, just not all the time 😁πŸ’ͺ🏻
